Here's a tip that might help some....Whenever i type one of those longer posts, and then send it....if it doesn't go through right away and i suspect that it might not go through, I hurry up and hightlight/copy everything so it isn't lost.
Usually, the post can be saved by hitting the "back" button, but as you know, sometimes that doesn't work. And yes, it is irritating. 
So it might be a good idea to try getting used to copying those longer posts, 'cause you know the site isn't going to change anytime soon.

I had a different system back then and no post was a certainty. When I got a newer laptop with excellent hardware I got out of the habit (and found an online spell checker
too!). I still grind to nearly a halt every night around 10 PM PDT which is when the backup and maintainance is set for (2AM EDT).
My style of using WP used to be a lengthy contributor but modding has taken a different path. Rarely am I reading for pleasure, but reading for content and patrolling the forums. I realize my Aspieness in submerging myself into my 'role' and Digger, I apologize for digging into you about noticing the obvious issues going on with WrongPlanet. I would like it to function better, as well.
