This site is a social medium, and therefore those with more refined social skills will always dominate the discussion should they choose to do so.

We are open to suggestions.

Actually we have had unstable mods in the past but maybe that has changed now after what has happened here.

I am no way popular here and I am the mildest on the spectrum. Maybe I am more aspie than I realize? :shrugs:

I don't care to be popular or not. I am not here to impress anyone to get popularity or to get liked by a lot of members. I'd rather be myself and if people don't like me, oh well. I have gotten crap here for being myself but it's been months now since someone has given me crap. Only thing that has changed about me is my humor. I don't do much of it here anymore because I am so afraid it be taken the wrong way like it had before. I'd rather do it elsewhere now.

I have felt here off and on I am too aspie in some areas because even my own kind misunderstand me. I have even been singled out because of my own fetish I had.

Equality? We judge people here by the merits of their opinions, intellect, and personality, not treat everyone identical. Most people are really liked, others hated. Seems fair to me.

I don't think there's any way round it, sometimes aspie traits are undesirable even to aspies.

In fact, I have theory that aspies can't do NT stuff, but they prefer NT social approval from others. They just don't like it when it goes wrong and they get the bad reaction from NTs. But they like being smiled at, liked.

Maybe one day we will revolt and rise against our NT masters, till that day, we can only plan.

I think it is safe to say that everyone likes being smiled at and liked and accepted.

A real aspie likes a stern. cold robot face that does not overwhelm them with distressting emotions. I did a test of some aspies of the kind of face they would find most reassuring and pleasurable, and came up with this.

I love it when someone starts throwing around the term "real aspie".

That looks like something from my nightmares.

The face looks awful, like it's incredibly angry. Like most other people, I like people with a certain set of facial ratios, and quality of skin. In other words, an NT cheerleeder. Sucks, but nothing I can do about it :?

In men, I much prefer a deeply stoic, even apathetic face. It makes me think they are rationalists too, I suppose.

Thanks. I guess I didn't realize it. Why did you think I was popular?

^ Yeah, that.

Wherever there are people, there will be a hierarchy. And, it can't be changed because you can't not let people choose who they like and don't like.

I don't know... maybe the way other members defer to you? I could be wrong!

Yeah so did I.

Some people think I am, but i'm not part of a clique I talk to no WP members off here. I think people just assume certain people are popular when everyone has different ideas.

From my personal observations, the people in "cliques" get there because they interact a lot on the site and are positive about others. That's why they are popular. Most of these people make a lot of posts every day.

Take the Adult forum "clique" for example: There are about 5 or 6 people who I would see are in that. All post a lot, and all are usually positive towards others. If someone was friendly and got noticed by posting a lot in there, then they will be welcome into said"clique" with open arms.
