Just because you weren't here
at the time of those posts, doesn't
mean that we should suffer through
them again. Look to those who were
around. He was amusing as hell, but
probably over the line WAY too much.

What lines did he cross? Asides, surely people can take a joke?

Trolling, flaming, borderline racism,
pretty much anything you want to name,
he probably pushed the envelope on.

When we add everything up, it was a
consistent history of posts which, while
none where bannable offenses on their own,
shows a poster who was probably doing more
harm than good.

The first two sound like they could be tough love, and the borderline racism satire that went over many heads. Nothing wrong with pushing the envelope as such. Maybe some of the other members of the website needed to grow up a little, and rise to his level, as opposed to the other way around.

With all due respect, you weren't here at that time. You can't really judge who was at fault, as you saw neither side.

Yeah, but with the amount of his posts
which got deleted, he had PLENTY of warning.
Not only, but I repeatedly warned him that he
was cutting it a bit too close, and likely to
manage to draw a ban. He'd pull back a bit,
but then go back to his tricks.

And yeah, I know we weren't supposed to
give warnings. So ban me. I had him judged
pretty well, and knew that he didn't want a ban.
There was nothing threatening about my statements,
more done as a co-conspirator.

You're just too cute and lovable to
stay banned. Plus, you cleaned up
your act a lot.

I have talked to Kosmo quite a lot since, and I have quite a good measure of the guy. I also have an idea what some of the other members are like. The other thing is that I lurked for a time with another account, so I have seen some of his posts here.

I think he should be given another chance. It would save him making all those sock puppets.

She had one brief period of harsh reaction to her
demodding, and an otherwise pretty damned good
member disappeared.

Janika is banned? Isn't she the one with the violin player in her avatar?

Not enough obviously.

Or I have a different perspective to you. Yes some of Kosmos posts were outrageous, but I dont think they were bad enough to be banned.

The ones that were bad enough to be removed immediately are the ones you didn't see. You can argue all you want about whether or not Kosmo should have been banned, but you don't have anything to base your assumptions on other than conjecture and uninformed personal feelings.

Could you PM me a couple of choice examples? I wouldnt say I was as ill informed as you are implying, I have talked to the guy on other sites. Nothing he posts on Intensity or Zomg seems too bad to me if it were to be posted on here.
