Seriously, I had my first beer at age 25. And no I didn't buy it. The men in my Spain tour group took me to the hotel bar just to buy me a beer when they found out I'd never had one (their wives really didn't like that when they found out . Probably because the women had jsut told me the day before that if drinking hadn't appealed to me yet I should never start )

The timing of the supposed glitch is very suspicious. I have never had the same thing happen before or after that one time.

It could have been a bug that you (AND others, I know that you weren't the only one with an inbox issue) came across before it was all that well known, and that it was later fixed (or the exact circumstances necessary for it haven't arisen again). That's an alternative to your idea that someone has malicious intent towards you.

I think in al likeliness someone wrote a pm. Then thought it was a bit embarrassing and deleted it. Was this an atmosphere where that could happen, possibly?

You mean someone might have sent me and thyme PMs, then decided to havk into our accounts to delete them becasue they were embarrassed and regretted having sent them?

I think using a public computer may be your problem. That outfits that have them for use are not always into good security. It would be problematical. Your situation sounds like a key logger to me. That at any given moment, with this many members, someone may be having trouble and then try and relate the two as being the same thing, well, the odds are high that might not be the case. Might not and then again it might. *shrug*

You already said the one name was someone at the Y. That would be a big tip off. There could be a couple ways he's getting the info, it depends on how the system is set up.

The two things are unrelated. As I tried to reassure thyme/bizarre before even if it was used maliciously, it is still using a glitch, it doesn't mean they had access to your account and therefore it is a pity you got paranoid about it. Though I can understand how it can happen.

Maybe your computer is haunted, and there might be an evil entity doing malicious stuff through the internet, we have to be careful it could get to any of us.

...no. If someone sends you a PM, they are free to edit it, or even delete it, up until the moment you open it.

If they were to have sent you a PM and had second thoughts, been embarrassed...whatever it may have been, and then deleted the PM before you read it, this could have been the cause of the bug.

As was stated, deleting the only message in someone's inbox could be the cause of this sort of faulty inbox behavior.

Yes, that had happened to me as well, I suppose that happens to a lot of people here.
