Yes, that's what I think too.

I understand the contents of it now that I am getting background, and I dont mind the message as it appears just to raise awareness of a situation that she is passionate about.

Where is Ana54 i havent seen her around for awhile,

I got it too and I thought she did it because she likes me. I asked her what is that place and I never heard back from her. What's wrong with getting that message?

I got the message to i didnt understand what it meant but it was proberly something very close to her heart all i care about now is where is she i havent seen her online i hope shes ok,

I didn't see anything incorrect with her message. If WP has a problem with her sending the same PM to a lot of people then I will leave that to the moderators.

My interest is she hasn't posted since Dec 22, and she was very prolific since she has been on WP. Well, alright, it is the Holidays and some people have more than one place to be at those times.

The content of her message and her subsequent absence was what concerned me.

She could be on ZOMG but I also think it strange she hasn't posted for a while. From what I've read about the Judge Rotenberg Centre (much of it on Aspies For Freedom, and they have a sticky devoted to information about the centre), there have been abuses going on for years.

Trouble is, a number of the people who are admitted present with severe self-harming behaviours and the rationale behind the shocks is to stop them from doing these things. Apart from restraints, which also have their problems, I'm not sure what could be done with the severe self-harmers.

Then again, there are others who may have some conduct issues but are generally much more high functioning and they are shocked as well. There must be better ways of helping the inmates besides applying electric shocks. The place sounds like a prison camp and if this kind of treatment were done to regular prisoners, there would be a huge outcry.

Maybe she decided to go by herself, and things didn't go too well and .....

Yes, I'm told they have very stringent security measures in place. I hope she hasn't been arrested or something similar. There have been attempts to get the place closed down for years or at least to have the aversives removed.

There are obviously vested interests in keeping the place going and some of these people must be in positions of high power. So a lone person or small group of protesters wouldn't stand much chance at all. I think that is why she sent all those PMs in the hope of getting together a huge group of protesters.
