As for me I had just noticed today when I first went to the forums index that all the subforums had the latest poster username of zomg# and that looked suspicious.

I'm willing to hear Soph out because she didn't use rude words for her account.

From what I can tell, Soph is banned from the site. She used a spammer email account to register a false account to circumvent a ban. that's a pretty serious infraction. If she wanted to come back, she would just send an email to me to ask to be unbanned and her request would be granted if she promised she wouldn't break rules. As it stands, she's violating multiple rules and both users have been banned.

The person doing all the spamming has only made Zomg a lot less attractive - it's done considerable damage to Zomg. I had been thinking I'd have a look around there at some point (when I have time) but now - well, it sounds like an unsafe forum if it's using such awful recruitment techniques.

BTW: Well done to Alex and the Mods. That cleanup would have been a bit of work and it was accomplished very quickly and quietly.
