The general rules apply even when you are discussing this topic. I am not moderating this thread because I have been a participant, but if I were I would send you a PM saying that this kind of generalization about a whole group based on gender is unacceptable. Please try to find ways to avoid this kind of misandrist generalization in future.

I've changed my mind: I would definitely attend a tea party if I were served tea by cats.

The tea party comment was meant to point out that it's a silly stereotype that women in general enjoy tea parties.

Knitting, baking, crocheting, shopping, book clubs, Pilates, going to the beauty parlor, dressing small dogs in little tiny outfits, etc. Silly stereotypes of what women supposedly all enjoy doing.

Well, by "tea party", I really meant a group of friends getting together ("hanging out", if you will) and chatting together without any kind of reservation or fear of judgement or attack. I love to consume large amounts of tea and scones when with my buddies, but if that is not your cup of tea (pun unintended), we will have wine for you instead ? :) Or anything else you might want. And yep we will throw in some feline servers for you ! !

I really like your posts and I hope you would participate, but that is your choice, of course.

Exclusive rooms for private parties are not a service being offered by this site.

I think we should start a cat forum  . There seem to be enough people on WP that like cats, both men and women.

I personally think that cats have autistic personalities. They are very sensitive to their environment, picky eaters, honest, enjoy having their alone time, and are commonly misunderstood by the average person. On the inside though, they are intelligent and loving, and not as anti-social as people often assume.

I've always gotten along very well with cats, and I have no difficulties in understanding their body language or communication styles.

I doubt my cat likes tea.

A cat forum would not be a bad idea!

To me, what the middle cat's face says is, "What's your business dragging your sorry, wretched self into this select place, underling? I hope, for your own good, that you'll have the common courtesy of making it quick. You don't want to get a taste of what I can do to annoying lowlifes who don't let me drink my tea unpestered before it gets cold, lad".

I never used to have much to do with cats. But a good friend of my has two Burmese and there have defiantly grown on me.

I will say though, even though they are litter mates, they couldn't be more different.

One is a massive attention seeker, extrovert. Can be annoying. She also liked to break the rules, be defiant. The other is really good, but with more autistic traits.

I don't want to associate myself with you, so you can stop quoting me and focus your biting and kicking and whatever.. on someone else.. I'm a woman and am posting in the WOMAN'S THREAD, so if you have a problem with that you need to be moderating yourself more acutely. Chromosone X is not Chromosone Y etc.

The O.P has the power to close this thread down and I've quoted her fairly and honestly. Your actions could be what has prolonged this thread so I feel its up to her. Don't quote me again, some people with a genuine condition bear their humility far greater than you.

Adam is a moderator, and; therefore, has the right to post in whatever thread he chooses to. Additionally, you don't get to dictate who can post in what thread.

If you have a problem with a moderator, take it up with Alex.

I'm not picking on you, X, but I love how this phrase is basically WP for 'go to Hell'.

Its funny how you should jump onto my back so swiftly, some people are usually in the wrong and they know it.
Picking on members isn't safe or normal and we have a right to defend ourselves from gender changing, guilt tripping inconsiderate people.(and I don't want people like that ridiculing myself or anyone).

Anyway, like I say how does anyone know who are 'moderators' or not? Do they ban you for finding out? Am I to recieve a warning for defending myself? :( Who's wrong and who's right?).
I haven't posted anything in the mods thread about this, so I guess its going straight to unlawful crime and punishment. Are you a moderator? Sorry, but its unclear who to trust or not to trust here.
I'm hardly a feminist, and there are thirty pages of this thread, to ask you to look through the whole lot is a lot to ask.

I can't agree with everyone, but I shouldn't be the one who gets picked out. This issue seems to be getting bigger and growing more negative, thats part of the reason I thought it should be stopped because someone said this thread is for female opinions. (It's part of the motion of why I added to the growing concern). :o

See page 24 Of Sir Alex's Rules.

viewtopic.php?t=12459

Here is a defining accurate example of the written rule

1. Posting offensive language, comments, video, or images.
Unacceptable content includes swearing; racist, sexist, homophobic language; behavior intended to provoke or belittle other members; violent or sexually demeaning content; sexual fetish; and discussion of excretory function. Posting graphic images or videos of people or animals being harmed is prohibited.

TALLYMAN IS NO LONGER A MODERATOR : The list is not exhaustive on that one and can't fully be maintained so that I could undersrand any of it.

Good Night

Would someone please explain to me what just happened?
