Your Internet provider has a bad dns setup. Don't worry it'll straighten out after a couple hours.

It's going much faster than it was the last time... Big thumbs up to alex :D:D:D
But my iPod Touch, erm... Can't really judge, my one is just generally slow..
Can't wait to fully try it tomorrow.

Hey alex, thanks for the reminder, I keep that in mind :)
I've just tried WP on my laptop and the speed hasn't done anything :( so I went to tweak some settings on my wireless router.... After I did that, i've noticed the speed on WP has gone noticably very fast :D I love the new server :D

Up the down time topic

I have not been on all weekend, so this is the first time I have noticed this. Very slightly faster, but because of my ancient, analytical engine the only thing I notice is that the pages open a bit faster--instead of thirty seconds it is only fifteen seconds.

Mine now barely takes a second to load now since this upgrade and normally I would also wait about 30 seconds... The best browser I would suggest to you is Google Chrome, apparently thats much faster and I have used it many of times and the results come out excellent :)

Every time I click on a page on WP I get a screen saying Internal Server Error, suggesting I reload, and when I do it works. It was like this yesterday too. Is there anything I can do?

very interesting, are there specific times this occurs more? When is the last this happened? Are there specific things you do to make it happen?

There are some optimization steps we have yet to go through as well, so it may just improve once we get these things implemented.

the last time this happened was when I was typing the above post ^^ and hit SUBMIT. The screen changed and it gave me the now familiar 505 error. I had to close the page and find the the thread, then the post and then retype my message and then clicked SUBMIT and it then said my post had been posted.

frustrating. especially when I forget to copy my message before I hit SUBMIT.
