he also has a kahazidhea2 account, however. regardless of this, i don't see how ban evading can ever be seen as a minor infraction...

well, none of the rest of us could know that he has more than one account. If he was never informed of why he was banned (again, not publicly available information) then of course he might try to "evade" the ban, to make things right if nothing else. If he is only actively using one account, this is a lot less important or significant than people with puppets. If you want to get technical, yes, he broke a rule. I have a feeling most people have here at one time or another. No harm, no foul. No, he didn't handle it "properly." (already addressed that) That aside, if he hasn't done anything since then, he isn't causing any harm (as far as anyone else can tell) so there's no point in dropping the hammer over it.

If, on the other hand, more problems have happened recently than him making a new account, then of course action should be, and should have already been, taken.

I admitted this to people on my other accounts that were banned. I'm sorry that I made more than one username, but what other choice did I have? You wouldn't tell me why I was banned. You wouldn't even reply to my emails and my PMs. I don't have the intent of causing trouble here by having more than one username. I just want to post because I like this forum.

My opinion on new_guy_64 has softened somewhat because of the support he just gave me during the most recent spamming crisis. I propose the following, that new_guy_64 be kept on a probationary status, but one of these conditions is that he apologises, or at least makes some reconcilatory gesture, to hale_bopp.

Are you saying that I should be banned again without a chance?

Then I'll leave it up to Alex to decide.

Seeing as how I'm not banned, I think I'm here to stay.

Good. I think most deserve a second chance unless they have acted to deliberately upset.

that was one of the shortest second chances anyone has ever gotten. it's a shame he blew it though, i would have liked him to have stayed but some people say they change with out actually changing.
