Apparently the backdoor used to compromise WP has been removed, but mod/admin permissions have not yet been restored so the site isn't operating normally.
Malicious/idiotic posts "from" members may still be present on the forums but until the site is operating normally, they can't be removed.

I'd advise that you don't use WP at all for the time being, at least until an unambiguous notice about the event has been posted.
Having a quick check of this thread without logging on should give sufficient information about that.

You are probably right to be sceptical but I can assure you that was the OG CF posting, I have been in touch with him by other means outside WP. And it's up to you if you keep posting but I would follow his advice. I shouldn't be posting myself. I will be toast anyway when normal service returns.

Off topic: That reminds me way back of an online space game I used to play when I was a kid, I can’t remember the name of the game, but I think it was by Stardock and was a 2D space trade/fight game where players are spaceships that travel galaxies, trade between stations, build bases on planets, form factions… etc, it was a blast.

I recall I orchestrated a coup d’état against my faction’s leader and his loyal members; with other few evildoers :lol: …I remember well in a surprise betrayal attack we took over on all bases of our main sector and all the laser turrets and nukes stacked in these bases, then used these turrets against them… the poor leader and his cronies abandoned the faction to form their own and became our sworn enemy, ahh these were the days. :mrgreen:

Damn, that was really… evil.
