Good. Keep this up. More opinions are welcome regardless of the predictability of the outcome.

I am for a men's forum

At least give it a chance for a month. If all that comes out of it are a bunch of cock jokes and misogyny then you can shut it down until the issue comes up again  . I think the OP raises some valid points, there are specific issues that men would want to talk about. Its nothing against women, they'll certainly be able to post there, and I expect they will

Yeah, what spongy said.

Anyway, it's obvious Alex isn't going to do sh*t about this and every person asking to have a men's forum here is just being taken for a fool. So I might have to handle this myself and create a forum soon specifically for Aspie/Autistic men/males and their needs/desires as Aspie/Autistic men/males. I'll be sure to have it on for one month trial and see how it goes from there. If things don't work out well after a month of setting up the forum, then I know it's not really needed and I'll have it shut down.

Of course, female members are also welcome to join.

Just give me a few days' time to set it up.

With restoring the Men's subforum or against women having a subforum while men don't.

If there is no Men's subforum, there shouldn't be a Women's subforum. If the Women's subforum is to remain, there should also be a Men's subforum.

There'll be free Almaza and all kinds of beer for you all.

As soon as I get back home, I'll start working on the forum.

For all of you who ask why there is no men's forum, and how unfair it is, and all that. There was a men's forum in the past, and it was removed. Why? not sure of that, but at a given point in time there were complains about the place being "misogynistic", so I bet that could have been the reason or part of the reason, (things used to be too PCish in those days). So I don't think there will be a men's forum ever again on this site, as much as poeple complain about it.

Sounds about right. How'd you know all that?

Just created one now. Visit the following link:

http://menandautism.freesmfhosting.com/

Need your help, guys. Tell me what sections to add and all that. And, of course, show everyone here that a forum for men is needed indeed. It's one month trial. Don't let me down now. Go there and post! 8)

Oh, and excuse the name of the forum. I can always change it later on when I get a domain name for it (if the forum ever kicks off).

Eh, I was here when it existed and got removed, and that's pretty much what happened.

I wasn't here when the Mens Discussion section has its go. What was considered misogynistic then that wouldn't be considered misogynistic now?

I've seen that kind of thing in the women's discussion, but it still seems to be there
