Calendale made his point, and now we're just discussing other members.

I believe that might be part of the problem, the subject of conversation: "Feminism" in which I ask, where is such subject more suited to be in, in the dating forum or the PPR forum? Maybe that thread would have being better there?

Perhaps, but that really shouldn't matter. When people would post
things in what seemed the wrong area, I would ask them if they'd
like it moved. Basically again, the principle that I was following, as
laid down by Alex, was to allow the members to use the site as they
wished, so long as things didn't get nasty. Obviously, some things
which weren't appropriate for all ages would just be moved to the
adult section, but otherwise, if the thread was at all recent, I made
certain to have the OP's agreement.

Yeah, by telling the truth. Sorry dude, like I said,
you guys have to be held to a higher standing - at
least in cases where there is any use of power, or
threat of such. And that's the case here.

Baka? I presume that's some other foreign insult
directed at me? No matter, I don't start crying when
someone tosses words at me. But 'tis rude no?

Anyhow, like I said, I've been pretty mindful, and
tried to step gingerly around, your own thin-skinned
nature, since we had our discussion. MrMark's and adult
though, and although he loses his temper a little easily
(and notice that I let up on him a bit after his tantrum?),
I don't think that he'll spend the day crying about this,
even if he can't defend his actions.

The twisted truth. As always, you twist it to make you look good.

This is another example of the complains made about your judgements and actions.
First, you deleted that post, is there a good valuable reason?
Second, That picture/emoticon is not an I2 trademark, I can say it must be used by several other boards.
Third, source photobucket, not I2.
Fourth, Even if it was from I2, it wouldn't matter, I personally don't like the site that much to be honest, but it doesn't mean I am going to reject or censor this image, should I?

You are doing me a grave disservice even impugning my integrity. Thus, because of this, I feel disnclined to offer you any civility.

Largely, but not entirely true. There are some other issues which
I've seen and commented on. But, discussing the behavior of mods
IS something which is of worth. And questioning the motives of the
membership who level accusations is certainly a way of attempting
to defend oneself from such accusations. So, even if 'twere the case,
it probably shouldn't be silenced.

I haven't deleted anything. Now, QM and I agree that this site would be better off without Calendale et al. If we were the out-of-control mods that some of us would have the membership believe we are...

But we have restraint. And forgiveness. But in my case, at least, both are finite.

Oops, my mistake, it is there, I didn't see it at first and I thought it was gone, sorry about that.

You're acting like a child. One ALWAYS argues from
their own perspective. I see no point in trying to
go into the psychological roots of a mod's problems.
And it's mostly irrelevant. Look, I trust that both
you and MrMark are decent people - that's not at
issue. What is are the things that I brought up, which
are pretty clear facts, in black and white, and the effects
and interpretations thereof, which are NECESSARILY a
personal judgment.

There are two issues at stake here:

1. Do we want conversations to be FORCED to be
on topic?

2. IF not, should mods be giving their own favorite threads
preferential treatment?

Anything else which is revealed about the character of the
staff here is merely ancillary. Just to be noted, I think you
guys have been doing a pretty decent job recently - though
since the site got much more boring after the last crackdown,
I look at even less of it, and stuff might have gotten under my
radar pretty easily. Mistakes get made. This is mainly being brought
up to point out what I see as a major error. It's done publicly
because otherwise it would be ignored - I learned that even
debating y'all in the mod forum was pretty pointless until Alex
would see the debate. Feeling free to debate these issues in the
open was the utilitarian reason for my resignation, after all.

well, I see there are some issues with Calandale here, maybe that is why his argument about the site being locked is not taken seriously, wether or not he is what you claim he is, it is a good point though, I believe locking threads for personal reasons, like that one, which pretty much looks that it was, doesn't seem that ethical actually and points towards abuse of power. Wether or not you have issues with him, it is still a good point.

Ah yes, mods must NEVER be questioned. Look, if you had to
deal with half the s**t that was laid on me, in terms of insults,
when I was a mod, I suspect it would crack you. I was a bloody
lightning rod here.

Also, WHEN did I question your integrity?
Seriously. It's your judgment and your temperament which I've
questioned, as far as I know. I don't think I've said anything about
the integrity of any of the current staff which has ever been negative.

My ACTIONS? I presume that you mean as a mod?
Because there ain't a lot that I can DO from outside.
And yeah, I'll defend those. I didn't do much, unless
I saw it as absolutely necessary - kinda what Alex told
us, no?

Or did you mean my words? If that, then I'd say that that's
exactly what I'm doing. I'll let others decide if I'm being
effective or not.

I don't share your opinion. I think the site went downhill with the loosening of the rules. That's what you wanted, isn't it, a loosening of the rules?
