I sent Postperson this:

I never meant any harm to you; I really didn't. I was just worried depressed people would be harassed and picked on on here when they came here to get away from that and get help, or not allowed to post in The HAven any more. Which is what The Haven is for. I don't want anyone gone; I just want to be left alone. Totally honestly. I'm sorry if any of us caused you any grief by posting in the Haven about being depressed, but I couldn't help it. I don't want to gang up on anyone. I am not a bully and will necver bully you. I was defending myself and they were defending themselves because they have been depressed themselves. Can you tell me exactly what annoys you so I can keep it to a minimum? Thanks. :)

I await his reply. :)

She. She. Postperson is a woman. Before you say anything about a poster, just check their sex in the profile?

Well there's certainly a caste system here. Thats why a separate forum had to be created for older people, they were either bored by or targeted by the 'yoof' here.

I don't require your apologies, I doubt that they're particularly genuine but I suppose I'm obliged to acknowledge them. As I've said before, if you want a 'fight club' type of experience go and join intensitysquared. I would like it if none of you ever replied to a post of mine again.

You are so high and mighty. Where can I become as grand as you, ma'am?

When you move out of home, live independently and get over your need to enact your mummy/daddy/teacher issues with any adult who strays into your vicinity.

Well since you seem to want to know whether I remember what it was like to be 24. I do.

I moved out of home at 19 and was living independently. I did some art school but felt like a freak there too and moved into casual low paid work/unemployment benefit. I had quite a busy social life from 19 to 25, parties, bands etc. After about 25 people had drifted away, I think they realise you're not just 'unusual' your'e 'mad', or they drift away because they're forming couples, but you're not. But anyway, at that age I had a life, and was experiencing life. Try it!

Parties are overrated. And I wouldn't be able to give a job my all if I didn't enjoy it. And I have tried. Believe me, I had to for Centrelink. And I am trying to make sure I have a future. I'm not just squandering my time. Believe me, someone with the necrophobia I have is not going to squander their time.

becrophobia?

Is that fear of parties?

Well that's where I met my boyfriends at that age. Everyone just gets drunk and throws themselves at someone at the end of the night, it's tacky but it works, and it doesn't require a lot of social sophistication. Everyone is terrified of parties at that age, even the NTs who pretend they're not. That's why people use alcohol at such events, it calms the terror. If you wait till you're older the whole finding a partner thing requires WAY more social sophistication.

Gah! I meant necrophobia. It's corrected now!
