Told you they weren't from I2.

that was TechnoMonk? he seemed so regular 8O

funny this thing with this I2 forum, I've noticed that zomg had disappeared but i was sure it must have died a natural death.

Yes I guess ZOMG kinda run it's course and Soph cancelled the hosting/domain. People probably get fooled by I2's low member count and assume it's a relatively inactive forum. It's 1/100th the size of WP in terms of member count yet it has 1/5th the amount of posts :o

gah, I wish I never peeked at that board. it's full of trolls 8O

well. . . it is a running gag in a TV Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine

Prune juice is a sweet Human beverage made from the juice of the prune, or dried plum fruit, of Earth. It is known to help clear constipation of the human digestive tract.
Although generally unpopular among Humans, prune juice was noted by Worf as being "a warrior's drink", when he was introduced to it by Guinan aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2366. (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise")

Sergey and Helena Rozhenko were surprised when Guinan told them Worf enjoyed the drink, as he had never shown an interest in human foods and beverages with them. (TNG: "Family")

Worf often ordered chilled prune juice at Quark's on Deep Space 9, as well as in the mess hall aboard the USS Defiant. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior", "The Quickening")

Worf often ordered an extra large juice. (DS9: "To the Death", "Let He Who Is Without Sin...")

Quark recounted an occasion that Worf toasted Ch'Pok with prune juice at Worf's hearing in 2372. (DS9: "Rules of Engagement")

Jadzia Dax once told Worf that "for a Klingon who was raised by humans, wears a Starfleet uniform, and drinks prune juice, you're pretty attached to 'tradition'."

While pining for Grilka, Worf took solace in the drink. (DS9: "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places")

aren't you glad you asked?

I was making a joke. Given the results of my joke...no. No, I am not glad that I asked. I'll be sure to repay the favour next time you post something that will allow me to make a really long rambling post on Doctor Who trivia and minutiae.

There are actually some really nice prunes in the bulk bin at one of the stores I go to. They have a soft, plummy tasting centre inside. I dont like the ones you buy in a bag though, they are usually greasy.

Sins, Sins, Sins...in all the time that we have known each other professionally, have you ever noticed me to actually have a sense of humour?

I always make sure dried fruit I buy is just that- dried, not all oily...

You're welcome. I find it kind of funny how Guinan just hands him the prune juice without telling him its side effects in humans, like trying to see "what will happen if I give this to a Klingon?".

Sure why not.

We can always start another moderator criticism thread.
