Hi! I've not been here for a long while. so hello! I know the adult section is for ages 17 and up. I would like to post a thread about when teens first started a sexual relationship, or if they have, and what they feel about it. I'd like to get a wide variety of ages, not just 17--19. I'm wanting to post it in the adolescent section, but is it too adult for the adolescent section? I don't want to post it in the adult section, because most people there are older than the age i'm looking for.

Thanks!

It is a grey area; in my personal opinion, I believe that the topic itself is ok. But if the content becomes sexually graphic or explicit, or the language is inappropriate, it will either be redacted, relocated to the Adult forum, or removed entirely.

I believe it to be an inappropriate topic for WP to bear legal responsibility.

It does if it is deemed to be negligent, despite TOS and/or your insistence to the contrary, Merle.

I still say the subject in question should be off-limits, as it may involve discussion of topics forbidden to minors. Please consult with Alex if you still feel the need to disagree with me.

Edit: Please reread ShadesOfMe's original request: "I don't want to post it in the adult section, because most people there are older than the age i'm looking for." That can be considered enticement, and contribution to the delinquency of a minor.

Your feedback is appreciated, CTBill. However, the objective discussion of experience is not forbidden, and there is no expression of enticement in the original post - it was explained that it was due to target audience, not solicitation. Also, as age of consent varies from state to state and nation to nation, it is impossible to verify the validity and legal status of each or any situation. The thread will be monitored, and if it transgresses then it will be removed.

I suppose this is why Alex has those he has chosen for moderators moderate. You may consult with Alex, of course, if you still feel the need to disagree with me.
