Weird New Zealand bug is back...

Well a couple of the mods may remember last year, Hale_bopp was logging in and would find my details show up on her computer, and hers would show up on mine...

well it is happening again! In the last few days when I have tried to log in I have had asplanet's details show up, and today a member named littleblueicebird, both of whom are also from New Zealand..

I am not using my computer though, this is happening from my boyfriend's computer who is also a member here. MR_BOGAN. So it is sort of cute, but a little strange. I know New Zealand is a small country and all, but it isnt that small... lol...

I can't recall exactly... but did we eventually decide it was re-use of a dynamic IP address that had caused the problem? I've always assumed that the pool of IP addresses that an ISP hands out would be recycled in sequence, so they don't get re-issued too closely together. Maybe that's not the explanation this time. Keep us posted, and we'll try to figure out how it happens.

I will keep you posted. Perhaps it is because New Zealand is so isolated from the rest of the world.. maybe there are some oddities with how the internet works here.
