Is there something wrong with my browser or is Alex doing experiments?

The site seems to be broken. It's horrible! All the text is coming up in a really large Serif font and the borders are missing. It's a mess.

I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only one and that I'm not going nuts. It WAS fine, then turned into this:

Well the blue and green is back. The font is back to sans-serif. Is it smaller than it used to be though? Or is it just an optical illusion after the large serif font?

Looks normal to me now, no smaller than it did before.

sorry, I was changing the CSS font stacks and left out leading single quotes for instances of one of the fonts.

Dear god, everythings in bold. Did we just get hacked or something?

EDIT: Sorry, it's not bold per se, but it's some fixed-width font where the letters are smooshed together so it appears bold at first glance. My bad.

Good... not only is there a reason for it, but it is not just me. Bonus and bonus.

Well, I have got all the usual background, the blue and green etc, back, which is great, but the text/font is odd/different.

It's far smaller/narrower, and harder on the eyes than the previous one which was wider/bigger or "rounder" or something.

I don't like it as much. It's less "friendly"/warm/welcoming, more anal/restricted/uptight/cramped than the old/usual one ( maybe it's just smaller? ). I hope that this is a temporary change.

Edit. The funny thing is that when I was typing my post the "view" of the thread which is visible underneath looked completely normal, with the usual larger font! ?

Another Edit: It's now slightly bigger/almost normal on the "post reply" window too!

But horribly tiny on the main page!

If the font is rough on your eyes you could always use the zoom feature on your browser....ctrl++ if
you are using Firefox, hmmm the Post Reply function appears unchanged, that is the text that I am writing
is the same but when I view the post it will be smaller.

I find the sub-forum and thread titles easier to read at least.



And why is the mascot alien still holding a cake?

well based on the fact that none of the people complaining have followed my directions or posted any screenshots, I can only assume that there is no problem with the current font.

Here is my string as per request:

The text looks smaller somehow, less clear. I use Firefox with the minimum text size higher than normal due to vision problems and it now seems different somehow.
