Speaking about scamming in PMs users have been getting here. Should there now be a limit of when you can send out PMs? Like when someone joins here, they have to make a few posts before sending out a PM?
A couple places I have gone too have this feature to prevent spam.
It sounds like a good idea, it should reduce the stress that these scam PMs cause to some users and also reduce/remove one of the ongoing jobs of the moderators in closing those accounts. I don't know if anyone here has ever been fooled by those PMs but there are certainly some very vulnerable people on WP.
