I started noticing this last night & no matter how may times I view a post the icon thing next to it still shows up as unread. I use FireFox as my main browser but it's doing this on IE as well

You mean the unread green icon? This was happening a couple of months ago to me. It is fine now,, it went on for a couple of weeks... have you been resetting any of the settings in the computer, or done a cookie clean in the last few days?

Yeah that's what I mean. I cleared out my cookies & catch yesterday but certain post were still not being marked as unread but the problem seems to have gotten fixed earlier tonight. Did Alex do anything or is this some random odd glitch :?:

i have a similar problem with the "watch this topic for replies" aspect.
i post in a thread, and i am surprised that i get no email notification of any further replies to that thread, but when i look at the "most recent posts" later on i see the threads i posted in have been updated, but i have no email notification that they were responded to.

whatever. that is the way cookies crumble
