Moving stuff to the adult section (where I can't get to it)

Mods keep moving threads I make and participate in to the adult section, where I can't get into yet. I'm therefore having to muck about with my age settings just to see threads I posted in or even started. Pretty annoying, especially since the threads in question have nothing in them which requires they be in the adult section IMO.

I'm almost 17 anyway, so I reckon I'll just keep my settings as they are for now unless there's some sort of strong objection to me doing so.

Just thought I'd be upfront and honest about it instead of causing drama.

That is one of the problems with the Adult section imo. People under 17 should be able to discuss these thigns as well. I can understand the need to keep some topics out of sight of actual kids, but teenagers are affected by sexual issues as well. Here the AOC is 16, so you can be HAVING sex (which many of us adults here aren't lol) and not be allowed to view threads about it :P

Exactly! The AOC is 16 here, too, so why I can do it but not talk about it on a forum is beyond me

Since no mods have contacted me about this, I assume this is alright with them?

^ I've no problem with it since you posted the moved thread in the first place. If you are referring to the Tiger Woods sex spoof news story - I moved it to the adult forum as it had adult content. I appreciate you are not a child, so in your case this is something of a grey area. However as there are young kids on the forum it was appropriate to move the thread.

Fair enough.

As I said, I'm 17 soon anyway (not according to the D.o.B. in my profile, but that is and always has been fake as I don't give real personal info to any site registration).

Thanks for being understanding with the issue.

Why not just alter your date of birth a couple of years? I don't recall being asked for my birth certificate when I registered here.

That's what I did, I just thought I'd let people know in order to avoid drama.
