OK, I think I should ask this publicly

Am I helping the mod team or am I just an annoying fly?

I know I am running this into the ground, but I just wanted to help you guys by reporting rule violations and causes for concern.

If you guys want me to leave you alone, let me know.

Seriously, relax, you shouldn't worry about helping the mods. They are fine. Its a crap job, they deal with a lot as you can see. You're young, enjoy the site. If something gets under your skin, report it to the mods. Otherwise, they will catch it soon enough. You don't want their job yet. It will take too much time and thought, you have other things to think about at 21. This is your prime, this is the age where it all starts to make sense. Don't waste it.

TBH people desperate for power or authority usually are not the best people to be in it.

I think it is pretty safe to say that you are not going to get what you are petitioning for, at least not any time soon. I hope that helps you to let go of this and find enjoyment and interaction in the rest of the site. Post and get involved in discussions, enjoy yourself, learn something about your fellow Aspies and yourself in turn. This is a great place and a great resource and I can honestly say that you get a lot more out of it as a member then as a moderator.

Soooo true. I was once moderator for a parenting website years ago. Nearly all the support I went there for went out the window because someone was always unhappy with something I did or didn't do. Moderators are often in a lose-lose situation. Being a member is far more pleasant.

@MLA Very well sir, I will not push the issue any further until I have at least 1-2000 posts. I withdrew the issue via PM to Alex a few months ago, but I don't think he read it.

Moog got it right, I was only looking for an outlet. I was instructed by a family member to find something to do on my computer, and that's why I made the request in the first place, oblivious to the fact that requests are looked down on. The video was just some suggestions but for the most part it was an attempt at damage control. I will stay out of this subforum from now on unless it is to make a report. I will not go looking for things to report, I will let them come to me.

Other than that I would say say and be yourself here and don't take yourself so seriously.
I have been a member of a forum (obviously) a mod and an Admin. The last two suck really badly.

Hey maybe you could make your own?

I go with annoying fly. Another member was actively seeking out every little thing he could report to the mods back in Summer 2008, even the most innocuous posts risked being reported by that do gooder.
