There has been a growing concern among the community concerning certain posts denying the Holocaust and other links to National Socialism (NS). Also related is White Nationalism (WN). There is some talk of not recommending people here anymore because of these posts. A lot of people call for banning these people, but 1.) it might set a bad precedent and 2.) nothing is stopping them from making a new name and posting again. These people might be uncomfortable posting on WN boards due to stigmas, etc. They might be uncomfortable posting on WrongPlanet because of fear of backlash. I also believe that opinions should be heard no matter what they are. Therefore, I offer a proposal:

Have WrongPlanet make their own forum for nationalists with autism. Essentially, make your own Stormfront for people with autism.

It is more than likely WrongPlanet can make a password-protected forum where a member can apply to get into it. If anything EXTREMELY racist or supporting racism is OUTSIDE the forum, it gets deleted. Likewise, anyone starting trouble in the other forum must be attended to promptly to protect the nationalists' opinions. Both of these have to be carefully moderated within reason. At the very least, it is an idea for someone to outsource into another separate website.

This is just a thought to grow upon. It is really rough and just a first idea. But people with autism should not be shunned just because they believe or say something offensive to the others. The question remains what extreme racism is. It is a tough topic. Huge speech issues too, but again this is just a first idea. I also kind of do not have a count of nationalist people with autism either, so I do not know how many there are and if this is plausible.

WrongPlanet is a place for people with autism and Asperger's. I believe a compromise like this would be best for the community and avoid problems later on.

There is a conflict of interest here. I have a lot of music I want to share but it is all NS and obviously I cannot.

You come to a forum like this and participate it only makes sense to wear your flak vest.

Someone had to make an idea. I put it in the forum where the most damage has happened. The title is supposed to stir emotions.

I do not need a flak vest; I need a shark cage and chainmail for the feeding frenzy that might happen.

I figure I can hold for 3 pages since at 5 it all goes to hell. I need something extra for the others.

Why would we make a haven for Autistic supremacists? It would imply they are welcome here and I have not seen evidence of that.

Wrong. I'm not a stormfronter or a nazi, but I believe nationalism has a role to play in the world, and I disagree openly with one-worlders. I'm guessing if you're talking to a stormfronter, it would be like talking to a brick wall in convincing them otherwise. It would be the same arguing with an environmentalist, devout religious person or one-world socialist - it doesn't matter how 'right' you think you are, you're never going to convince the other person that.

As for here, I personally don't mind what people post, as long as it can lead to some sort of constructive debate. For example I've posted before I didn't believe all races were biologically equal and listed my reasoning why. This is different to trolling around saying I hate x.

Nationalism isn't always due to accident. Naturalized citizens who had to work for their citizenship can be very patriotic.

In "Starship Troopers" Robert Heinlein described nationalism as the highest level of human morality. He claimed that all human morality is born out of the survival instinct. At the lowest level you'd kill to survive. At the next level you'd kill to protect your family. At the next level above that you'd kill to protect members of your immediate community, then your town, then your region and ultimately your country. With mankind being so about "us and them" the only way to effectively identify the whole world as "us" for most people would be to introduce another "them," like extraterrestrial invaders or something.

The Watchmen faked an alien attack to bring the world together, it's the only thing that would work. The poor of the world could unite and take down the rich or something, but nothing lasting would form from that because people would just divide themselves into "us" and "them" again.

There is talk about not recommending people here because of the anti-NS and anti-WN bias? In my opinion, that is excellent news and says nothing but good things about the site's membership. If people are feeling uncomfortable about sharing their opinions on such subjects (expressing hate, etc) then the membership is accomplishing its goal in that regard.

The views that you complain are not being allowed are not welcome here. This site isn't a haven of free speech, it is a privately owned domain that does not tolerate nor enable hate-speech. It directly violates the TOS that everyone must operate under. There are no "free speech issues" on this site because there is no such thing as free speech on this site.

What you must understand is that your views are constantly flamed because the membership doesn't want to hear them. They find them redundant and boring at best and abhorrent at worst. You say that "people with Autism should not be shunned because they believe or say something offensive to others". You are wrong. This is a small society, but a society none the less. People who spout offensive things are shunned by society. This is human nature and not something I have any desire to circumvent.

WP will not be creating a "StormFront for autistics" as long as I am moderating here. Members who post racist remarks will continue to be banned as long as I am moderating here. Hate speech will continue to be shunned as long as I am a moderator here. The NS question has been answered. It is not welcome here.

You're wrong. And even if you weren't by this logic we shouldn't make any more efforts in banning spammers either as many of them keep coming back. So let's just give up and let them pester and try to scam the membership, right?

And I'm happy to inform you that even "moderate" racism is against the TOS here and this won't be changed in the foreseeable future.

And I'm just as happy to inform you that indeed none of us would support a "StormFront for autistics" and neither would the vast majority of people who made this site what it is - maybe the guys on StormFront would accommodate you and make a section for autistics.

Against my better judgement, I will provide my opinion on this issue.

What you StormFront people fail to realize is nobody wants to hear the hate-filled excrement you say is "free speech". Your politics of hate disgust me and IMO you have no business here or on any private forum for that matter. This is a support forum first and foremost and if you StormFront people can not contribute to the support, you need to take your leave. I think since you came here just to attempt to spread your hate, that you are already under heavy scrutiny by the Moderation staff, and your days here are numbered.

Also, regarding the NS music issue, perhaps I will contact a Last.fm Moderator and warn them about this so they can make sure that it never sees the light of day.
