Image postings not working

I attempt to post some images and I get various error messages. For example, I tired to post an animated gif



And when I try to preview it, I get the error message "could not obtain smilies" and when I try to submit it, I get different, more vague general posting error message.

In addition to gif's not working, it seems some png'ss also aren't being recognized and jpegs aren't being recognized and causing similar error messages.

It worked for me, can you do it now?

Still not. I just tried to post an article (with graphics and formatting) to ppr and got the same error messages for submitting and previewing.

-When attempting to submit with any conditions other than BBCode disabled:

"Error in posting"

-When attempting to preview (with only attach signature checked and with nothing checked):

"Couldn't obtain smilies data"


-When attempting to preview with smilies disabled and attach signature checked:

"Couldn't obtain category list."


-When attempting to edit my original post to allow smilies and BBCode:

"Error in deleting post"

Your post appears to be screwed. I tried to play with it but it crashes every time I attempt to edit. That might be the problem. Want to start a new one and I can delete this one?

New thread? Sure. I'll mark it as 2 or something and the 2 can be edited out after. Would there be any way to migrate the posts? I know there's been at least one reply that was actually to the article rather than just about the messed up format.
