Just a short notice for those who may wonder, this afternoon I unsubscribed myself from the Moderator User Group. I am no longer a moderator of this website, though that green tag will likely remain below my name indefinitely.

I won't go into great detail as to why at this time, but will state that I do not feel that the moderation team can function long-term with absent and disinterested administration. I believe under those conditions the site will no longer continue running smoothly despite the best efforts of the moderators that remain, and hope that if nothing else my resignation can gain the notice of those whose attention is needed and has been impossible to obtain any other way.

It's never cool when the administration is absent. The least he could do is respond to the requests of those who have made this forum what it is (i.e. the members of his forum).
