Is it a rule that threads that do not break any rules on this site can be deleted without notifying the original poster? If so can someone explain why a thread I posted in PPR entitled "Christ's Kingdom is 'No Part of This World'" was deleted? I hadn't broken any forum rules and there was at least two pages of replies; many of whom I did not agree with, but I think it was wrong to outright remove the entire thread.
In the past I've asked mods to remove threads privately and this is what they said,
TOGGI3: I am sorry but it is policy not to remove posts that are not rule violations. We do appreciate the offer, but we have to say we cant. We can lock on request in a few instances, as we have done with the thread in question. I also must decline on removing your specific posts.
MidlifeAspie: I can't remove the first post of an 11 page discussion, but I did lock it down for you. The only way to remove your posts is manually, and the mods are not available for that. It would take me about 6 weeks.
My thread wasn't locked. It was quietly deleted. Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not accusing anyone on the forum of anything. I would just like to know why the thread was quietly deleted.
Thank you.
