Hello,

How do I change my profile picture? It won't simply just let me download a picture off of Google images and use that.

Are there any specific steps that I need to follow?

There are specific image requirements for an avatar.

To change your avatar, go to: My Account (top right of any page), then select Edit avatar from the Options list on the left.
The screen now visible provides the requirements for the image and the ability to upload one.

If you get stuck PM me the details of the image you'd like to use and I'll see what I can do with it (usually successfully ).

The maximum dimensions for an avatar are 130 pixels in width and 160 pixels in height.

You can easily edit the pixel dimensions of any picture in Microsoft paint or an equivalent program if you are running Linux or another OS.
