Thank you for getting rid of that tool bar with links to FaceBook, Tweet, etc.! It was definitely annoying. Putting the links at the top and bottom of the pages as stationary buttons, as you have done now instead, is definitely the way to go. I can see them there, and make use of them if I want to, but they are no longer popping up where I don't want them. This way makes a lot of sense.
Personally, though, I don't Tweet, or FaceBook, or do any of the other big social sites. The only social sites I post at are Wrong Planet and Dear Abby. I do also post at non-social sites, such as some news papers, and some news letter sites, but that's not the same. With Dear Abby I just make comments in response to some of the letters, but with Wrong Planet, I am much more involved. I get a lot of info and support here, and do comment in response to some of the letters I read here, but I also occasionally make my own posts, like this one.
