I think that diagnosis possibilities in profile should be more specific. We can choose between "Asperger's Syndrome" and "Other autism spectrum disorder", but there is huge amount of different diagnoses hidden in the second option. An individual with "other autism spectrum disorder" could have severe autism as well as HFA/PDD-NOS. What about following solution (I made my comments italic, don't consider them as a part of diagnoses):

1. Autism
2. PDD-NOS
3. Asperger's Syndrome
4. Other autism spectrum disorder for minor ASD diangoses
5. Autistic, but undiagnosed here I left it inaccurate because of inaccuracy of non-professional self-diagnosis
6. Not sure if autistic or not
7. Family member with autistic(s)
8. Other neurodiversity (schizophrenia, bipolar etc.)
9. Neurotypical

I think that it will be better to list all three most popular autism spectrum disorters. Moreover, I would change other options as well, because, for example, "Family member with Aspergers" is too specific. Yes, I could choose it if my family member has Kenner's Syndrome, but it's just... well, not right (for me at least). Also, someone has written, that it could be nice to be able to choose other conditions and I support it.

What do you think about it?

I think after the new DSM comes out, alex should add Social Communication Disorder and also add Was Autistic.

I have always thought more should be added like ADHD, anxiety, Bipolar, etc. or just put other ND for neurodiverse meaning they do have a condition but it's not autism.

Well, I think that in countries other than USA the Asperger's Syndrome will remain, because there is also an ICD-10 used widely, for example, in Europe. I have "F84.5" in my diagnosis report. Anyway, they may get rid of AS in ICD-11 also.

Therefore, AS should just remain on WP for foreigners :)

EDIT: AS remains in ICD-11 alpha so far: http://apps.who.int/classifications/icd ... cd%23F84.5

I agree with you. I think leaving it as a blank field might be a good idea too (along with gender), that can be filled in with whatever you want
