I've tried erasing my cookies, logging in twice and delete my latest post, but when I try to post what I deleted again, it's getting sorted by date order instead of whenever or not it's actually new. Thought I say that to help narrow down the problem.

Unless it's still pertinent, you could delete my duplicate post in general discussion.

Random thoughts: the dates have to be stored on some sort of database table so maybe you could run an SQL script that fixes the dates of the posts made in the last 24 hours.

Or you could find that restriction that doesn't let people post too often and disable it. In 28 hours you could enable it again.

WP might be hit by a DOS attack if the post too often code was turned off.
