I just got the following spam:

"Hello My name is Tessy.
"I saw your profile today email contact and i became interested in you, and I will also want to know more about you, I want you to send mail to my email so I can give you my picture for you to know whom am. I think we can move from here.I am waiting for your mail to my email address (Remember the distance or color does not matter but good friendship matters a lot in life)Please reply me with my email address . . . "

tessy1010 has now been banned. Please report such scams in the moderator attention thread rather than creating a thread in Autism discussion. The sooner the mods know about the scammers the sooner we can ban them - hopefully before someone falls for their scam.

It sucks that it is scam mail. Otherwise, if it were real, it would've raised the hopes of a lot of people!

Technically it's both.
Spam because this is sent to multiple people.
Scam because of their lack of spelling and grammar and other dodgy stuff behind the scenes.

As before when I first signed up here years ago, I'm finding that after a long hiatus, and after only a few days back on here, I'm spending way too much time here again already. So I'm requesting my account be locked, banned or whatever. It's just time. Until then, well, I dunno...
