Can't access IRC (banned?)

Hi! I'm not able to get on the IRC channel... it says my address is banned, even though I haven't been banned. ^.^;
(In fact, I haven't tried to go onto the channel in a year or so, until now...)

I'm guessing someone banned an entire ISP, and I got caught up in it?
My hostname thingie ends in virginmedia dot com, if that helps ^.^; (I can't write it out normally on the forum because of spam protection x.x)

It's possible your ISP bars access to IRC, I guess, but I'd expect a message clearly from Virgin Media if that's the case.
Try using this: http://webchat.freenode.net/ and see what happens.

If you get a message stating that you're barred from using the #wrongplanet channel specifically, try PMing WP's LuckyBunny - he's one of the ChatOps for #wrongplanet.

Please also note that #wrongplanet has nothing to do with "Wrong Planet", and we have no jurisdiction there - so any problems with #wrongplanet will need to be resolved on #wrongplanet.
