So, i've been trying to add my birthdate to my profile so I can get in to the adult forum, but I keep getting an error message that my email is invalid. I don't know why it's saying that, I verified my email when I made this account and i've changed my password with it as well. It also says the same error message when I try to change the time zone. I asked hyperlexian and she said to ask here.

When editing your profile, just above the button "save profile changes" make sure both the password fields are blank before pressing said button. You don't have to enter anything in those fields to save the changes.

I dunno whether that's the problem you're having or not.

No, that's not the problem, there's not a password field on the birthday page. Although I did just realize my phone's auto-fill thing thought it was cool to put my user name in the date format box. But I still can't change the other stuff.

Anybody? Would it be possible for a mod to put my bday on my profile for me?

What blue_bean means is that just before you click on the "save profile changes" button, you make sure the password fields are empty.
Those fields are immediately above the button.

I think there's something else going on that's being missed (I'm currently suspecting your phone's auto-completion): your EMail is clearly valid because it's already been used when you changed your password, and I'm assuming you're receiving thread update notifications since you saw that blue_bean had posted here - those are sent by EMail.
Try switching off your phone's auto-completion before trying again.

Moderators are not able to edit member profiles and in any case, if it is actually objecting to your EMail address for some reason (as opposed to an unspotted auto-completion silliness) then it would still object for us, even if we were able to edit it.
