Ok, maybe I am just an idiot. You can tell by my face; it says idiot on it. I wrote it myself, but I spelled it "ideeit."

How do you do a signature? I have tried it a thousand different times, but as you can see by my face I am doing it horribly wrong.

"HTML code. Use it."

But gawsh, I don't know how to do that! That makes my brain hurt, like when I tried to read "See Spot run."

On your account type in what you want to be your signature in the signature box. After you do that click save at the bottom of the page

Do you have the box that reads "Always attach Signature" checked?
