I just saw this. There is also a part on excretory function that is not part of my argument.

Could you explain why the video on this thread is allowed to be changed to a link with a warning, but now videos are being removed completely in the Adult forum, when I am sure people might still be interested in seeing these as well.

The moderators are on record saying PPR is treated differently here. It is literally the first sentence of the first post on the page. I think it would be logical to think that maybe swearing and some violence gets some leeway on the Adult Forum since it is restricted and who the people posting there are, and the movies/events they watch or listen to. That is just my opinion.

that was back in November of 2011, and i was a fairly new moderator. i probably didn't know the best way to handle it at the time. why are you digging up threads from 6 months ago?

there is no leeway anywhere on the forum for swears that are supposed to be filtered. end of story.

No leeway for posts, yes. Videos are different.

What stops a person from, instead of embedding the video, making a hyperlink and stating a warning about the language? Is that reasonable? If it is, why are the videos being removed instead of telling the person to change it to a hyperlink with a warning about the language?

sometimes people do put a link, but we don't currently have a protocol for how to deal with that.

for several months, i took the time to ask people, and they didn't EVER comply. so i stopped asking.
