How do you deal with the bandwidth if and when you start running out due to too many posts?

2 of the message boards that I use to work ran out of bandwidth which caused them to setup message board software from other brands of software starting over again as if brand new. The last one to be shut down and replace with another brand was archiving all of the posts.

Do you archive the posts to make more room or are they deleted after a certain amount of time to free up bandwidth? Do you have a backup plan should you start running out of bandwidth?

Thanks.

We don't use bandwidth. We use a next-gen system of content delivery via IPoAC (as described in RFC 1149), which allows us unparalleled network carriers without negatively impacting carrier syllogism.

It's advanced network engineering that only a few fortune 100 companies have been able to implement due to high CapEx requirements - but we've been able to convert nearly 80% of the capital requirements to an OpEx model.
