How do you deal with the bandwidth if and when you start running out due to too many posts?


2 of the message boards that I use to work ran out of bandwidth which caused them to setup message board software from other brands of software starting over again as if brand new. The last one to be shut down and replace with another brand was archiving all of the posts.


Do you archive the posts to make more room or are they deleted after a certain amount of time to free up bandwidth? Do you have a backup plan should you start running out of bandwidth?
