Blog editor doesn't like cut and paste

I've tried several times and keep getting a message added to the end that says "clickable links are not allowed until I have been a member for 5 days"

Close to that anyway.

1. There are no links in the paper I am trying to cut and paste into the blog editor
2. I've been a member for more than 5 days.


Whats the solution?

Use an external blog.
Seriously: the built-in blogging function here has never worked correctly and I doubt it ever will.

I hate to sound dumb, but yeah, I guess I am. When you say external blog, do you mean a blog other than the blog on WP?
