I just wanted to say thanks for doing that. My pictures suddenly decided to become huge recently and I have no idea why. :?

Okay, you can move on to a different thread now. :P

The site software automatically resizes large pictures. Mods don't generally get involved with such things.

Unless they're still extremely big after being resized. Don't think I don't notice these things! :o

Never mind.

:D And thanks very much for noticing!
The forum software makes a mess of resizing for images over 800x600 - sometimes an awful mess, and since photography is a special interest and it really grates to see images distorted like this, I apply a small tweak to correct it in those posts I notice.

I occasionally drop hints about trying to keep posted images to 800x600 but... well, it begins to sound like a lecture so I tend to just quietly correct instead.

I've got a guilty admission to make too. I'm actually the spelling bot that sometimes corrects spawlung mishtucks on topic subject lines. They're, their, there. :P

You're among friends... I've done the same thing.
In posts, spilling mastiks are just "meh" - but there, in broad daylight on an index? Never!! 8O
