I'm really interested in getting some input from the younger members about some things relating to my DS8, like school stuff, afterschool activities, and stuff like that, and how they deal with certain things relating to them. But, at the same time, it's the kids' crater and I'm sensitive about being an adult asking stuff there as I really think it should be only their place.

I'm torn about letting my DS8 set up a username and stuff to ask himself in there, since as someone said "I'm more worried about the adults in the kids crater than the kids in the adult section" in the thread relating to where the subforum link is placed. I mean I could let him ask through my account and stuff, I don't know. I'm sure I'm overanalyzing this.

What do y'all think? I want to be sensitive to the kids there, but I'm really curious about some stuff that my DS experiences and wonder if some of them can relate to it in a way that he might understand or something? Like I said, I'm sure I'm overanalyzing this, but wanted to get some input since I'm new, and don't want to be "that guy" :D

Dearest son, 8 years old.

To the OP: I wouldn't worry about it. Threads can be reported and deleted right away if they're considered inappropriate to the forum. Also imputing your son's age into an account will restrict him from entering certain forums. (Such as Adult Autism Discussion)

Ah ok... Sounds good.

Like I said, I don't want to seem over-analytical even though I usually am!

I'll see if he wants to sign up and ask a few things. :)

Thanks Makayla, I've been reading some cool threads in there out of curiosity and I know you're in a lot of them, so thanks for letting me know... :)
