There doesn't appear to be a good place in the Topical Discussions section for discussing non-science, non-creative liberal arts, like history, anthropology, world cultures, and foreign languages. I really enjoy discussing these topics. Are there other people on WP interested in this? Enough to make a separate forum section?

Only Alex can make a new forum (afaik), so you might consider posting a new thread in either Random Topics, Politics, Philosophy & Religion, or even the Education forum.

The "Art, Writing and Music" forum would be the appropriate one for that. There is such a forum, though people also post about books and novels in there.

There are a few of us around, but I'm not sure it they will allocate a new sub-forum for it.

Usually we post the threads in one of the following:

- Random
- Art, Writing and Music
- Politics, Philosophy and Religion

Because we don't have a particular section for that they're kind of spread out over those areas.
It's best to use the search button if you're after something in particular,
