Must be all the sports team paraphernalia that broke it!

Happens less less frequently now that I disable JS before logging on

I've been getting that a lot lately. And it messes it so bad that I cannot load the page (or any pages on wp) ever again until I nuke my cache and my cookies related to wp both.

I've noticed for me it's common when I hit "post reply" instead of quoting something.

I've had this several times. It seems to be something to do with cookies. Deleting the wrongplanet.net cookies clears it up and using wget and sending that cookie gets the same 503 response.

As a result of the recent hurricane the Internet in North America, and globally to a lesser extent, is pretty crippled.
Several key systems linking the American east coast to the west coast and links to Europe have been damaged, so access to WP may be a little choppy for a while - hence the CloudFlare errors.

What about pruning and deleting old topics and posts? wouldnt that free up some damn space on WP so it can work alot better?

No. It wouldn't. There are out of memory - I.E RAM - Errors occuring. Nothing to do with Hard Drive.

Also, Cloudflare plays middle-man, Meaning DNS Server

Agreed it's definitely a server problem, I've been losing posts and not getting topic emails as well so I've been checking manually and copy/pasting where needed (tedious but oh well, nothing we can do).
