I am unsure as to why my account, 'greyhelium' was banned. I came back from 6 days AFK after moving, and posted a few times, but upon looking at my posts, i had the banned icon and user title, but i still had posting ability. This was probably because my new house obv has diff IP and so i was still able to post. So I PMd an admin and enquired a) the nature of the ban-but-can-still-post and b) why i was banned in the first place. Instead of receiving a reply, my account was banned, whether it was a banning of my new IP or the account itself i do not know, but it was clear the ban was intentional, even after i had gone out of my way to notify an admin of the semi-banned situation.

In my opinion, i admit i go overboard sometimes, but the most 'criminal' events i have done have been minor spamming over a month ago, which I dealt with myself, maturely stopped of my own accord (even though the so-called 'spam' was in the 'random' section - however i am not here to discuss that) I have never been warned that my activitys within the last few months could lead to banning, and i have been well behaved, and for all intents and purposes a large participator in the random section of the forum, and i have made many friends here and i love this place very much, because it gives me an outlet for the stresses of life, and companionship, so i am at an end.

If i have done a bannable offence, i am not aware of it, i was never warned and i was not notifyed in any posts that i had done a bannable offence. And if i had inadvertently broken a rule (because i NEVER intentionally break a rule that will get me banned - that is just stupid) I have not been told. So please, explain why i was banned, why there was no warning and no explanation, and for how long this ban is expected to last. I will say however that there is NO justification for a perma-banning of my account. I have been many places, i had atlast found a nice place where atleast a few of the members liked me and could relate to me, but even here i am the target of an (in my opinion) over the top punishment for maybe one offence (which i do not even know what it is)

IVe been in contact with alex over this and i realise now why i was banned, thanks for replying :)

of course you are well within your rights to punish me because i posted a link to a so-called 'shock' site - i understand now that this was probably not a good idea as children visit these boards, so i apologise. If i had known there would be this response then i would not have done it, i am simply used to the communites of 4chan and other 'lulz' communities - very little content restriction, so i am sorry for introducing the link, it was intended 'for teh lulz' not malicious.

I understand the banning but i still dnt think it is fair to perma ban for a one off misdeed which was a mistake on my part and i have apologised for - i like this place, i dont want to have to leave it since i have made some good freinds here =/

It's always sad to see a member banned . I hope you are unbanned soon.

Your ban isn't permanent, but posting a link to that kind of site is extremely serious, and upset quite a few members. one member was so disgusted that she almost vomited. This is not acceptable. Also, ban evasion only hurts your case.
