i just feel like saying 'thank you for having created WP!'

(i know it sounds a bit pathetic, and the success of it certainly proves you done a good job, but maybe it's a good thing
to say it once)

I think an announcement would be nice, just to make the switchover more official, as well as give Alex formal credit for his work.
