Blogs? Not used much or just not searchable? Also blogspam

I'm relatively new to the site, so forgive me if this is just my ignorance...

How can people see when their is a new blog post? When I go to the blog directory (which is darn hard to get to) I see that there are only a handful of entries listed, is this all there is? Are blogs that new or is nobody (except me) using them?

Also it looks like users fessora28prim and lilili1 are machine generated Bayesian-filter avoiding word-salad link-bots.

The blogs and articles on the site are regularly spammed by bots. However, Alex (the site owner) can't figure out how to set the permissions on his site to allow allow me and Cornflake (the site admins) access to remove the spam! So in this particular case random spammers have more access than we do!

There are also a number of software bugs associated with the blogs, so I don't think they get used much, some members prefer to use external blogs such as on Wordpress.

I have a blog elsewhere, but it is not about my mental or health state.

My blog entries here are on topic for the site and the two are not related (except that the topic of the other is one of my special interests).

Also I hope to have some material about accoustic treatment panels to post soon which many members here will hopefully find useful.
