Why didn't I think of joining this site earlier?

I sometimes wonder to myself, as I approach my first anniversary on this site, "Why didn't I think of joining here earlier?" and "Why did it take me this long to discover I have autism?"

If I had joined circa 2009, I would have been named something else, like $aleoftheCentury (after the titular 1980s game show).

So, I thank everyone here whom I have befriended in the past year. :) You all mean a lot t'me.

in restrospect, I sorta wish I coulda been a charter member back in 2004. but I had no confidence in my maturity and pertinence in posting.

Even if I joined circa 2008, I'd still be welcomed with open arms out here, so I am happy for everyone here.
