Why can't I select a page I want on my profile thing?

What I mean is, when I go on to ''find all posts by Joe90'' I have 572 pages of posts and sometimes I'd like to go back to different pages and read some of what I posted like a year or two ago, just for something to do. But if I type in a number in the little box, it just jumps on to page 1, so I've got to do it the long way by selecting 1 then 2 then 3 and so on until I get further into the middle and it will take forever.
When I type in a number in the little box in general Autism discussion, it does jump to the page I wanted.

I was just wondering, why does it do this only in my profile? Is it the same for every member here? Why?

It's broken for me, too, but there is a workaround.

Consider you want to see your 1000th latest post, then visit:
http://www.wrongplanet.net/forumsearch_author-Joe90-start-1000.html

Each page shows 15 posts, so if you want to visit page 42, then calculate: (42-1)*15=615, so the page you're looking for is:

Hmm, that still sounds a little complicated to me.
