How do you edit an existing poll?

I want to add an option to a poll in a thread I made but I'm not sure how to. Does anyone know how to edit a poll?

There is a time limit on editing polls. If you've exceeded that limit, then moderatorial intervention is required. If not, then edit it using the same "buttons" you used during its creation.

When I try editing it, the buttons don't appear. How long is the time limit?

I've added a "Both" option to the poll. :wink:

Once a poll has attracted votes the options can only be changed by a moderator.
Otherwise, the post is subject to the usual edit time window - currently 3 days.
