Scrolling Position Not Remembered

To see this bug:

1) From the Main Forum Index scroll down to WrongPlanet.net discussion

2) Click on the link

3) Click your browser 'Back' button

4) You're now at the Main Forum Index but it's at the top of the page again, the browser didn't remember that you'd scrolled down.

This bug appears on all the other WP pages

If I right-click on links and select 'Open in New Window' then this problem doesn't occur.

Not here - when I use the "back" button to return to the index page, it's displayed in the same position as I left it.
Firefox v26.0; I get the same behaviour with Firefox v3.6.17 and with rekonq v3.2.3 (which also had no ad/script blocking at all).

Must be a gremlin somewhere in the interwebs because it only happens on this site. For the record I'm using Firefox 20 and Linux Mint but I have noticed the problem with earlier versions of the browser.
