How do I bring an image to WP? I used to have an "avatar" image thing that I brought from my computer, but somehow it has disappeared.

1. Click on the link at the top right of the screen: "My Account".
2. Click "Edit Profile".
3. Scroll down to the Avatar Control Panel.

If you have your own image you'd like to use:
There is a limit on the avatar size - no larger than 130 pixels wide, 160 pixels high, and the file size no more than 16 KB.
4. Click on the "Upload Through Forum Profile" link, next to "Upload Avatar from your machine".
5. Click on the "Browse" button in the window that now appears.
6. Locate the image on your machine and click "Open".
7. Click the "Submit" button.
8. Click the "Save Avatar" button.

If you want to use one of the default avatars provided by WP:
1. Steps 1..3 above.
4. Select a gallery then click "Show gallery".
5. Click on an avatar.
6. Click the "Save Avatar" button.

TY. I have an image that I resized to 100x100 pixels but it's still not taking. Maybe bigger than 16KB. I don't know how to change that part.

If you're able to post the image to this thread (or PM me with it - same technique) I'll probably be able to get it to a size that will load Ok.
