Every time I open WP up on my tablet or phone, it keeps saying there's a virus, and to do a scan, and all those nonsense links. It never happens when I go on other websites, and I have a good anti-virus and Web security on phone and tablet.

It's likely related to one of the sites providing ads. here - some of them seem to have a poor reputation WRT malware checkers.
Are you able to get anything more specific - relating to a post, a page, or with some indication of what the virus is supposed to be?

I've seen a malware report triggered by one specific post here which happened to contain a link to another site; that was what caused the warning to pop up, but there was no site present on that link: it had ceased to exist ages ago. The problem was in fact due to the member's browser still reporting it as a risk on the basis of the URL alone, because its information was out of date.

Here are some screen shots. I clicked on a thread title in General Autism Discussion and all these links and pop ups come up http://imgur.com/a/iwNif

The tab there called PDCHAT is a Personality Disorder support site which never has any problems, so I'm definitely sure it's not that, and I don't visit 'adult websites'.

I notice I keep seeing ads along the side and bottom of this site offering these' system clean' things http://imgur.com/EJ53xre

Yes, that's suspicious - those screenshots look more like an ad. than the sort of thing any serious virus checker would report - especially "(...) has been exposed to a fatal trojan virus while browsing recent adult-oriented websites".
It's meaningless, and seems designed to scare someone into clicking the button.

Hmm. Not good. A quick Google search on "android popup from s-com" unearthed this, among others:
http://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/artic ... m-message/

It appears to be something that was installed with an app, or it's (malicious?) "scareware" being pushed by one of the companies providing ads for WP.
Unfortunately we have no control over what those companies send and I certainly hope their systems haven't been compromised - I've reported this to Alex for his attention.
Meanwhile if your browser is able to block scripts from executing (Dolphin, for example), this should help reduce ads generally - or at the very least, stop anything from s-com.net executing.

I'd do a scan with MBAM if I was you.

Just to be sure.
